All betrayal quests have to be started before you ding 18. Anytime from 15 to 17 I think ??

I have just gone through the betrayal with my High Elf summoner and have today dinged 20 and become a Necro :)

You must complete the 1st part of the betrayer quest and be exiled from your city pre 17. After that it's a run through Nek and Thundering Steps, which gets the heart racing, lol. Once in the new 'country', Antonica in your case, you will be level capped and can go up to 220% at 17, so when you complete the betrayal you will ding 18 and 19.

It's a tough road but an achievement when you've finished. Once you've betrayed I don't believe you can go back again. One tip, make sure you move things out of the shared bank and into your top 8 slots and collect all your furniture and relinquish your existing house. You cannot get a house in your new city if you still have one in the old city.
