[Navy][/Navy] Hi all, I just got eq2 but i need to fix computer too use soooooo until then I'm fewling my curiosity of this game. I have play eqoa for ps2 for a year and decided to switch to computer. Now here are my questions:
1: what is vanguard armor?
2: are kerra good shadow knights? (also same qstion for dark elves and Iksar)
3: does one get some attribute points in the beggining like in eqoa?
4:are racial sites always used automaticly or do i need to press button to use it (infravision ultra, sonic sight etc...)
And thats it for now so i would apreciate answers. Not to all but if n e 1 knows answer to 1 please answer (also I know qstion 2 is gunna get me some ppl tellin me depends on person and stuff so specifics: can a kerra sk deal melee dmg well and take it well with more or less = stats between str agi sta, thank you).

Questions from a newbie...Follow
1. Currently, just a nicer looking alternative to plate armor. They're both heavy and off NPC merchants, they're roughly the same in terms of AC. However, player crafted versions may be better (I have a few crafted vanguard armor pieces and they're better than the npc stuff).
2. Unsure... but you can make any race viable in whatever job, it just takes more discipline and hard work as you have already guessed. In terms of numbers... I'm not sure of the base stats, but you can get equipment to compensate. For example, if your character has a low strength score, you can get items that have +str stat boosts, etc. Also realize that Kerra have good agi (correct, yes? I'm not sure, never chose Kerra), which means they can make up for not being able to take the damage by dodging some. Of course, I may be wrong since I don't know the stats of a Kerra.
3. No attribute points. Everything's set. Throughout the course of your character's life (levelling), you'll be given choices of abilities or attributes you can choose, which adds _some_ individuality, but imo, not much.
4. You need to activate the type of vision. You can find it in your knowledge book ("k") and it's under the first section. You can also grab the existing icon and drag it to your hotbar to create a hotbar button, just fyi.

Ahhhh ok thank you Arcos Kojin that quenched some curiosity lol. The Kerra do have good agi (25).
