Berserker answer hereFollow

I wanted to ask a berserker which are the good and bad things this class has..
For my tipe, I like warriors that are mostly developed for hitting hard and been focused on offensive attacks, not so much of a defense tank tipe of player.. I guess a berserker was the best class for my tipe of warrior.

yeah beserkers right now at my level are definatly really good at everything. We rock the damage and we can also tank just as well as guardians.

my favorite things about being a zerker is that i love the damage output we do.....espcially our ae damage.......i have so much fun when i can ae.

the only downfall i tend to run into is that you are almost always required to be the tank of your group which depending on what mobs/area your grouped at. alot of the time i just wanna get my duel weps out and do some insane damage but cant cuz they want me to tank instead.

I'm sorry, you can't just wish your betters away Kensi. No matter how much you whine and cry and click your little ruby red slippers together.

And when you post 400 messages in about a months time, almost all of them no better then your last two here, its not hard to see them while casually browsing the boards once or twice a week.

Those are flames of love, they're just putting on a show for us now.

Didn't know I stumbled into the plane of hate.

I am just about to choose my class and coming here seems to have put me on the right track. Going Zerker! I enjoy pummeling a mob good. BTW ignore my sig, that is from Final fantasy xi. You'll notice I played paladin there (And Black mage) But I think Paladin in ffxi had 10x better spells than what I have heard of the EQ2 Paladins. (No offence intended, I am sure paladins make wonderful tanks in EQ2 or else they wouldn't be set up as so.) At any rate thank you all for posting your opinions and making this site so informative.

BEFORE YOU FLAME ME, lemme say one thing. I am a level 42 Monk and I have been known to out-tank guardians on occasion. The differences between the classes are so minute that what I said is very variable. If EVERYTHING about a lineup of these 6 guys is the same (gear, level, level of skills/spell, skill of player, mob being fought) then it would play out exactly as I said. Each fighter has a slightly different variation from a purely neutral/developer standpoint. However, it very rarely is as perfect as this.

Bruisers CAN tank better than guardians, and not as rarely as you think.
Guardians CAN do better damage than a Bruiser, and not as rarely as you think.

HAH! There is not a single zerker that can get 300+ DPS, ever. The best berserker on my server can get 300 if he is fully raid buffed and not tanking. I know this for a fact, I am often the off-tank for the raids he is on. And a well-geared (insert any fighter name here) can do insane DPS.

I don't see where a fighter type claimed to get 300+ DPS. I see a person saying that a few scouts and most mages can get that, and that I agree with. But no fighter type in this game can, as of yet, get 300+ DPS. I don't care WHO says they can. And don't say it may be the case on my server, because that's suggesting my server has some disability that other server's are able to get over. That's so illogical.

NNNNOOOOOO, /cry /whine /***** /spoutbs blah blah. ANYONE who uses terms like never and always are obviously too full of their own crap to accept anything else from the outside world. i believe the results. my zerk is 42 and i get over 100 easily with crap gear and no adept 3.

THE BOTTOM LINE: skill matters

yes there are people with mad gear and spell upgrades that i will prolly not get, tho im working for them. and if they are as skilled as me or others, they will rock me. but none of this changes anything. skill really matters, theres no autopilot. if u are skilled, and u watch and see what works, u can rock, prolly with any class out there. so if u suckazz, just let it go, really. stop flamming people for their success, thats just lame. get out of HS and figure it out for urself. i have seen good players in every class do really well, and i have seen crappy players that just cant get it up. all these flamers remind me of the kids in grade school that when they were losing the game, would make a fuss or some stupid crap so they get out of there with their pride still intact(no one ever believes them). my zerk rocks, is most the time the highest or 2nd dps in group, regardless of who we fighting, and i dont have any really good gear(all fulg armor and the mammoth axe from greenhoods). if u cant get it up, shut up and listen to the people who are successful, MAYBE u will LEARN something. well, enough counterflame for me.

luckily for us all, others beliefs do not influence reality, so go on doing ur thing, and i will go on rocking the poor mobs of norrath.
