Sorry, this may be a totally dumb question, but what are the lore items used for. I mean if I get a bunch of orc items (eye, ear, bones, etc.) what can I use them for?
You can study them to gain knowledge about norrath, creatures of norrath or the history of norrath.
For gnolltooth, ear etc you first need to recive a quest.

lore items that are creature parts are used in these quests.
some parts you can gather ahead of time and some you cannot.
other lore items may be for other quests, or the rewards from quests. if an item is lore, you cannot have more than one in inventory or in the bank, and you cannot place a lore item in the shared bank.
