I am currently a level 14 outfitter and trying to make some tanned leather gear. Most all of the peices i can make require a generic burlap patern which is an outfitter only recipe im sure. So if all these require the pattern where is the recipe for the pattern? Thanks for any info

I believe the generic burlap pattern is a fletching item and is in the craftsman essentials 10 book which I managed to scribe as an outfitter at about level 12.

You can buy the essentials volume 10 that contains the pattern recipe and scribe it.

or get a carpenter friend to make them for you :)
Be able to scribe other artisan's books was a bug/exploit not intended gameplay. Not sure if they fixed it in this patch.

No they Didn't fix it, i have scribed all 3 for lvl 10 saved myself loads making all my own basics.
