nah... not that i'm aware of.

Can have club spear etc in main hand.

Shield tailsman book in off hand. I saw some one with a tailsman that looked a heck of alot like a flail, but i'm not sure if it actualy did dmg. and it might be only one.

As a defiler I can say that we can not dual weild. It may appear at times that we are but we aren't. I had a malet in one hand and a book in the other hand. It looked as if I was smacking the mob with both items. However, I did some testing with this while watching the melee combat text and there was no increase in the number of swings I would take per minute. There was also no damage besides my crushing damage from the malet.

I have to disagree. They may not "dual wield" per-say, but I was dual wielding with my defiler until I upgraded my shield at lvl 28. I was using the Skullcrusher hammer, and the Shield of Dark Bindings, and I was in fact using both to do dmg with. Again, I would suggest this is only certain offhand items that do this, but defilers can "dual wield" to an extent.

I used to carry an agate orb in my secondary slot and did appear that I was hitting the mob with both. However, only the primary weapon was actually doing damage. My theory is that it only appears that you attack with both because Symbol items use a similar position model as dual wield blunt weapons. Yes, I have tested this for myself with an without the orb in secondary. Damage stayed the same. Having played a dual wield class before, I also know that it's formula is much different from EQLive. The dual wield weapon always strikes at it's accounted time, it's not a random roll like it was in EQLive.

The simple way to answer this is by bringing up your skills window using the L key. It's in alphabetical order so just scroll the the D's. There is no skill on a defiler called Dual Weild which means no, we can not dual wield.
