Many of the tradeskillers I visit to buy stuff from have rooms full of candles. I cannot find any reference to these in any of my recipe books or on EQ2Traders.
Can anyone throw any light on this?

They were added to some merchants (City merchants?) as part of a Christmas feel patch.
I hear you get several for buying one. Not sure if they are still in game.

These are no longer available, but when you purchased one and placed it, it was a large block of candles.
They cost a handfull of copper to buy.. I suspect you will see them on the market for several silver+ now.

As of a couple days ago you could still purchase Norrathian candles on a merchant in Scale Yard. Just after the Inn, go up the steps towards the bank, turn left. Merchant there still sells candles and eggnog.
The big patch took the drinks off the merchants and he no longer sells the candles either
