Why does SE KEEP closing my account!?Follow

#1 Jan 02 2005 at 10:29 PM Rating: Decent
I don't know what to do, I have contacted customer support over the course of 2-3 weeks and they keep giving me the same solution that doesnt fix this problem:

My account is being closed every few days. What I do is goto customer support, they tell me to try and resuscribe, then I try. I get an error saying "credit card not accepted but due to system problems." So I then have to wait another half hour to get ahold of CS and then tell them it wasn't accepted due to system problems. They then press a magic button and I can then log on and resuscribe.

Even though i resuscribed...about 3 times, they keep closing my account. As many times that I have asked they keep giving me the same answer as why this is happening. This answer is "Your account has been closed, please try to resuscribe now. Once you resuscribe, you will be all set."

I really hope I'm not being charged 15 bucks every time i try and resuscribe, and I better not be charged for the days where they close my account. I've recieved one bill so far since I suscribed in November.

Can anyone clarify why this is happening? Because the CS is not clarifying for me...

If that was happening to me, and that was all I could sqeeze out of CS, I would basically figure they are trying to tell me to play WoW or something. I sugest talking to a supervisor over there. I hate to sound kind of bitter, but I work in the call center industry (at work right now), and often times, a center will just staff people and they need them out on the floor, so they throw them out without enough training. It sounds like spin (which is really all call center work is about, just trying to make your BS sound good). Maybe you can get some straight answers from a sup, as they have to have a fair amount of knowledge to get in a supervisor position (usually). I think asking for one is warrented in this situation, as it has to be them to fix the issue, there is nothing you can do.

i had issues like that too. but when i resubscribed i was charged $25.00 not the $5.00 per month it was suppose to be. due to i prepaid a year with eq 1. so upgrading to station pass was only and extra $5.00 they charged one account 2 times for the $5.00 then the end of dec. they charged my account $25 the full station pass price. at first i was pissed but i quickly noticed that they put my on a rebilling that amount but for every 5 months.
Nice of them to let me know. i find this out through credit card bill.
then a few days ago i see they did same thing with my 2nd account.
hmmm i guess i could be nasty and get money bak as soe did not have my authorization to bill me that amount. but then i'd loose my accounts
i wouldn't have minded if they emailed me that they were going to do this.

Well i only have one active game on this credit card, EQ2. I had to re-suscribe 3 times in a row. If I am charged 3 times, or upgraded in someway without my consent, I will be rather pissed. All I want is to NOT have to deal with CS every few days and for my card to be charged once a month.
