tradeskill..wholesalers with a small problemFollow

#1 Jan 02 2005 at 5:55 PM Rating: Decent
I have a quest listed under the heading "tradeskill". One is a "wholesaler task" to do. I finished it and it said to report back to the wholesaler. However there has been on problem....

Well to my dismay I started this quest back at Thanksgiving and forgoten whom my wholesaler was. Is there a way to find this out. No information is given to the name of the NPC, whom is my wholesaler. I went to every NPC in my tradeskill area and just outside of it to try to find who it might be. Not even a zone was listed to give me a hint.

If anyone has any ideas who this wholesaler might be and post it....I would be grateful :)
Thanks :)

Click on "Society's" in the menu and the highlighted one is yours.

The wholesaler is inside the door behind the desk.

Thanks Tarv...something tells me it was back at the other trade society I was at. Because I tried that NPC just inside my tradeskill area, behind the desk and she gave me a "workshop task". I joined a new tradeskill society and something tells me that the task was from a the old one. Oh well....

You can belong to 2 Societies, so if you never actually left the other one, you can still go back there anytime.

There are 2 different things, Workshop, where you make things for quests and Wholesaler where you collect things for quests. You can be a member of 1 of each at the same time and you can change which slum they are in by Dismissing yourself from the old one using the Societies Window. The green highlighted ones are the ones you are a member of now.

I went back to the other society. I still get the same thing being said to me. They tell me to come back when I have completed task, yet in my quest window it says "I need to turn in the goods to my wholesaler." Time for me to hit the "delete this quest" button before I give up tradeskills! LOL

Thanks to all that helped me. :)

well for future reference, here's what happenned. you use what you harvested fo the wholesaler somehow.

if (for instance) you have a quest to harvest 15 iron clusters, which you get, you have to have 15 iron clusters on you when you try and complete the quest, since you turn them over to the wholesaler. If you used them up making tempers or a dagger or whatever, the wholesaler will still tell you to finish your task.
