After killing a rat Matriarch in Oakmyst the other day I received an artisan scroll entitled something like, Artisan Strategem Something-or-other.
The tradeskills on this scroll are all for Fighter and Scout Adept III skills, like Kick, Wild Swing, etc. The thing that confuses me is that it is obly a level 9 Craftmanship scroll!
Questions:
1) Has anyone seen these scrolls out there?
2) Any notion as to market value?
3) Is there something I am missing?

I found one of these also, but im not sure their worth and I am pretty sure they are hard to make and cost a decent amount of money to make
To give a possible idea of the value, I see the Adept 3 spells for level 20-29 toons going for anywhere from 10gp to 50gp each.

That is the rare book drop for craftsman to make the lvl 3-9 scout and fighter adept3 spells. There are other books required as well by the craftsman to refine rare gems and ore into ink used to make those scrolls.
That book, should sell for 1g-3g on most servers.

I just checked my server, Mistmoore, one of the more inflated economies out there and it sells for 2g average.

I got that book, and i have checked the brokers on my server, and it normally goes for about 50-70sp on Everfrost Evil. One thing you must keep in mind is that book drop rates vary by the city, wether evil or good. So something that may go for over 1gp in Qeynos/FP may be going for 20sp in the other city.
Here is how you would make Adept III Dust Blast as an example:
1. Find or buy a scroll that teaches you this recipe.
2. Find or buy a scroll that teaches you Suzuri Dye and Suzuri Ink.
3. Find or buy a Silver Cluster or Rough Coral (very rare drop and sell for around 10 gold on Brokers on Runnyeye).
4. Use the item in 3. to make Tetranoid Reagent.
5. Use the Tetranoid plus Stroma Wash to make the Suzuri Dye.
6. Use the Suzuri Dye plus Stroma Wash to make the Suzuri Ink.
7. Buy a Maple Quill and Cailun Paper from the Broker or get a friend to make them for you.
8. Use the Suzuri Ink, Maple Quill and Cailun Paper to make the Adept III spell scroll Dust Blast.
Now you see why they normally sell for over 10 gold apiece :)
