I know this is being asked a lot, but in search, no one i've seen has asked for a comparisson of EQ2 to EQ1. Im currently playing WoW, and im starting to feel that it is lacking some 'soul' and i want to try out EQ2, given im missing EQ1 and the raid feel, as well as the fact you can earn a name for yourself.

Does EQ2 have the same substance to it that EQ1 had, or is it a completely different game.

here's a link of someone complaining about how EQ2 is like EQ1 in too many ways... what she complains bout though are actually the reason why i like it.. never played EQ1 myself

Oh another thing, hows the server populations. I know the game isn't near as 'populated' as WoW, but are there any server underpopulated i should stay away from if i am to get the game.

the server select screen, in the character creation bit, will state the level of population for each. just create your toons during the time of day that you will be playing the most and you'll be able to see the more heavily populated ones for your time frame.
