I believe the crabs in TS on the beach (follow the path then turn left into the undead ruins and there is a beach past that) are fairly easy to solo and con orange / yellow at level 19. Other than that, check out the bears / wolves in Antonica which are located in the north east of the zone. I'm not sure what they will con to you, but I know they are soloable mobs.

While it has been sometime since i grinded to lvl 20, I *think* i leveled up from 17 to 20 on earth burrowers in the burned northern farm fields in Antonica. These are the farm fields just south of Windstalker village along the road. Just look for the burned out farm houses. These fields are not to be confused with the scarecrow fields next to the Steppes tower which have no earthburrowers. They burrowers are non aggro, and there are no aggro mobs that roam through the fields there. They probably will con green and blue to you at lvl 19, but if you kill fast, the exp moves along nicely. For some reason, the mobs give more experience than they should. If i remember correctly I was getting about 1% exp per 3 kills at lvl 19 and could do those 3 kills in less than a couple mins.

The above poster suggesting wolves and bears is another very good area. Just north and east of the same windstalker village, on the high platau above the the northern coastline, but those will con even and some yellow there and should be approached with caution at lvl 19.

Having just soloed my way through 19 two days ago I can confirm that the burnt out fields are excellent. My 19 crusader breezed through the earth burrowers, they were blue and white cons... at 20 green and blue. You will get the occassional bear or wolf near the fields, bears are typically white cons though I did see a red or orange once or twice. Stay on the fields themselves and no worries.

On the hill next to Gnollslayer keep there are a ton of bears and wolves. Most are blue, some white and I was unlucky enough to have a lot of yellows for a few hour stretch. Those yellows are a real son-of-a-beotch to non casters and those that can't kite... not that there is a ton of room to run either since there are so many. My tactic as a crusader was get close enough to use a DD spell (righteous anger), slam it, run close to the moat so I had it behind me preventing a mob from coming up behind me... and wear the bear or wolf down.

I also found fighting in 3rd person mode to be a big help in case an aggro mob did manage to get close enough. You could be at 50% and have that even con down to 25% and thinking ok... got this one in the bag, drop it, be at 25% and still taking damage only to find out there is a yellow con bear behind you... Third person mode lets you know if there is one out of your peripheral vision and if its time to boogie.

Be careful around gnollslayer, I've found that the sentry there does scant little to save your **** if you are in trouble!
