Is anyone else having issues with there chat windows and hotbutton bar loosing there settings? Seems I loose mine most everyday. sucks :(
yar ... but it seems somewhat random... though it could be when i get punted when they do the server updates in the mornings.

Hotbar? Not me, personally.
But the chat boxes, sometimes get resetted. However, recently I it hasn't really reset for several days.
Do you have multiple characters and are the windows all set up differently? I did, but recently made the interface the same for both characters.
Not sure if this is also a concern, but I just recently loaded some custom interface pieces from [link=www.eq2interface.com]EQ2 Interface[/link]. The pieces affect my chat windows, info bar (the little box that has your name, hp and power bars and concentration slots) and knowledge book. If any had an effect on my chat windows settings being consistently saved, I would say it was the chat window interface piece. However, they are similar themed and reside in the same custom interface folder. Maybe that fact alone (EQ2 using the custom interface folder instead of the Default one) is what kept my settings for the past several days.
The only issue I'm experiencing is that every time my "Always chat here" setting gets reset to the original window created by EQ2.
