Find your friends in EQ2 and beyondFollow

When switching from other MMORPGs that shall remain nameless to EQ2, one of the biggest problems was letting everyone who knew me in one game find me in EQ2.

Apparently there already exists such a site to allow people to find their friends across the MMOs. They can punch my known character name from one game (like EQ1), and check my profile to see what -other- characters I'm playing, on which games, and on which servers. A few friends already have found me using it, so I know it works.

I found they offer more than just that simple character registration service, apparently you can post comments underneath individual characters, both good or bad. If it's used, I could see that being very handy to warn people that character X is a griefer and caused chaos on this date and time.

They also have a calendar system to post public events on individual servers! Quite handy, I think.

Anyway, I didn't want to sound like an ad but rather wanted to share with others who might find it as handy as I did. I've registered my characters on there.

Hope you guys find it as promising as I do. Apparently it's been around since February but their grassroots advertising hasn't quite taken off. So I guess I'm helping.
