Does anyone know about a service--such as Magelo for original EQ--for use with EQ II?

it's built in, sort of. see http://eq2players.station.sony.com. you have the option of upgrading to advanced profiles if you wish to display more information that is available with basic.

its available but not free. i used it with my first month, but won't pay for it. There will be a magelo equivilent. since sony seems to be lacking in their "offerings" nothing about their offerings is better than the 3rd party possibilities. sad really. sony could of made a lot of money with it.

and it also sucks if your useing a gamecard. i got eq2 and a 90 day game card from my dad for an early christmas present and cant use the profile system and it wont even let me pay just for the profile untill my game card expires in march sometime. i really liked looking and checking out how many kills i had and how i ranked compared to other players. youd figure with the money soe makes off of us every month they would of offered the profile system for free.

I think Alla has something in the works too. There is a "Your Characters..." link under the "Login..." subheading on the bar, but it comes up with a comming soon page.

i use it, and it's nice to be able to click from guild roster to player, and yes, it costs $.99 a month for the advanced profile. the items on the inventory screen are clickable, and you can view stats as well. i dont have to run anything extra to update it, as it's updated as the servers crawl the player database, anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours.

if you are a magelo fan (i'm a premium user with 8 acct capability), they'll be shooting for 1Q 2005, and your premium membership will cover up to 3 games, i believe. so, technically, i could sync eq2, and i might, but i like the advanced profiles i'm using now (like this one), so i'd likely keep em both.
