My guild is based out of Qeynos, and I prefer to group with them whenever possible. I have a Paladin, Ranger and Druid (will be Fury) all based out of Qeynos.
I now also have a 15.5 Dark Elf Shaman. My original intention was to betray Freeport with him and join the guildies in Qeynos. However, I am starting to like the Defiler class the more I hear about it, and may prefer to be a Mystic.
Based on my level, I need to make a decision soon. What I am wondering is, how hard is it to survive as an evil toon in the outlying Qeynos areas? Specifically:
Can I use the mender and merchants in the hunting cabin?
Am I KoS to the guards?
Can I get into the lesser villages by using the Mariner's Bell? (I know I will be kicked out of the main gates, but I heard the bells work).
Can I join a Qeynos-based guild, or am I confined to just grouping with them?
If anyone is currently living like this, please let me know how its going. I wonder if its just a bad idea considering any quests I could get would be Freeport based, eg armor quests.

Since no one answered this post, I assumed no one really knew. So, I made the run from FP to Ant prior to starting the betrayal quest in order to answer my own questions. Here is what I learned:
Can I use the mender and merchants in the hunting cabin?
Yes
No
Yes, but as soon as you get close to the gate guards, they boot you.
Yes
I gathered some of the Antonica quests I had completed with my good-aligned characters. I was able to get them all with no problem. I was also lucky enough to get a rotting bootstrutter's guide and completed that - except for the final turn in.
Then, I went into the Peat Bog through Antonica. Did some harvesting there - no worries. The merchant there showed aggro to me. Although he was insulting he did not attack, nor did the guards. I then went into VS and from there into the Down Below. Finally, I entered North Qeynos...the holy holy land. I did not roam far in NQ, but since I was not near gate I was not kicked out.
That's about it. I had a fun time sneaking around the place. I imagine I could hunt any of the sewer areas and all of Antonica and its attached zones with no problem. Quests inside the city gates, including the armor quests, are out of the question.
I hope someone finds this information useful. It was definitely a fun day for me.
