My Holy Steed ran away . . .Follow

#1 Dec 28 2004 at 12:46 PM Rating: Good
Ok so it didn't actually run away - but:

When I activated it to see it in F10 view (cool steed) I had to hurry back to another zone. So I did. When I zoned into the new zone my Holy Steed was nowhere to be found. I called and pleaded and even waved a few carrots and sugar cubes in the air - no deal.

So I figured hell - I would just get another. So I tried to cast the spell again and NOPE! Apparantly I cannot cast another Holy Steed. Wonder if my old one is running free and wild somewhere in Elldar Grove?

Ok - Spell stats are:

Cast time: 5.0 seconds
Recast time: 0.0 seconds
Delay or something is 0.5 seconds.

So - why does my Combat Spell icon still show as QUEUED? And I thought pets etc would zone with you?

Desires of evil had tainted its soul, shortly after completing the betrayal quest your horse was seen in the service of the shadowknights as an unholy steed :D

It could be you cannot call your horse in the zone you are in. I can ride my horse in west, east, north, south freeport, commonlands, nek forest but he will not come to any of the surrounding cities or dungeons (big bend, wailing caves, etc), it is greyed out and will show yellow "queued" icon if I click it.

I've never kept my horse when zoning, it is annoying to resummon it but the travel speed boost is well worth it. I lose my horse just crossing neck deep water - I thought horses could swim? (Maybe not with a troll in heavy armor carrying 300 weight in junk)
