After doing Magical Retribution Quest in the sprawl (level 12 quest which was difficult with group) I was awarded a Black Magi Medallion which had nice stats but also said I was extremly overqualified for it. Now if I wear it do I keep the stats +10 power, +3 Int, + 5 Health? Which is better than item I am wearing, which I have barely begun to realize potential, aside from AC. I have noticed this decrepency with other items as well but usually not that extreme.

All effects of the equipment stay in effect regaurdless of how it cons to you.
The only difference is the AC that you already noticed.
In other words as long as you wear it you will get full benifits of it except that it stops getting better once you hit its Max AC.
If I got the choice between a item with 25AC, several stats, +15hp, +15power, and 150 total resists vs. something with Only 30AC I am staying with the 1st item (Note: I am a caster not a Tank)
I dont care if the 1st one cons grey and the 2nd 1 white and has a potential 40AC 5 levels from now.
