How to use PS2 controller with EQ2?Follow

Coming from FFXI, I liked being able to use the PS2 controller for many basic movements such as running around and talking to NPCs, exploring, changing camera angle, etc.

I would like to do the same thing for EQ2, but I don't see any options under "Control" for setting up a controller or mapping any controller keys.

How do you set up a controller/joystick to work in EQ2?

(Request: Please stay on topic, if you intend to post one liners like "Why the heck would you use a controller?! Use the keyboard/mouse!" then please don't post. ^_^ onegai shimasu!)

If you really wanted to you would have to get a controller with 3rd party control software and map the keyboard keys to it. A better idea would be to purchase a Zboard. It's not a controller, but it's better than a regular keyboard if you don't like the normal set-up

After seeing this issue so many times I did some research, heres what I got:

It's a program that lets you map keyboard keys and mouse buttons to any controller, or so it says. I have not used this yet but will try it probably tonight to have more info on it.

You can buy a usb adapter for your PS2 controller for about $10 at Radio Shack, but since I'm not at home I can't look (or remember) if you can map it to the keyboard.
