What Class?Follow

how do you get a class you want this is probbably a noob question but im new to eq2 i played eq1 and had a lvl 54 clr with epic.
i have a fighter at lvl 8 in qeynos now i just got citizenship quest done but i want to cast spells maybe be a druid or shaman im guessing you would have to be a priest to be one...

are beastlords in eq2 i like them :0)
