Usually no guild would touch you as long as you are wearing another's tag.

yup.. be polite, give a good reason to your guild why to leave.. like your time zones dont' match up and you need people on durring your time of day.

Solo, look for a guild, those lvls you can solo well enough.

It be VERY hard find a guild if you have one, and if your guild knows you'd dump your old one at drop of a hat for something better. I doubt they be eager to recruit some one disloyal as you...

I don't think he's disloyal. After all, his reasons are valid. This is a game. It's about having fun. It's not about casting your lot in with a group of other people and "sticking it out" no matter what. The bottom line is we pay a fee for a service, and if we're not getting our money's worth, then we need to do what we can to get it.

It is, however, about him *appearing* to be disloyal :) And any decent guild out there is going to be concerned about that.

I didn't tell him to stay with them forever hehe thats stupid.

But sticking around while looking for something better isn't right either =p

Decent guilds/groups. whatever are hard to find in any game. I must had half dozen linkshells in FFXI.. sure great groups guys talk to most of em.. but I never had anyone even close to my lvl =p

So far my guild in Eq2 is pretty friendly and small (barely the 6 starting people hehe).. who knows how it will go.

It seems to that the more you want a guild, the less likely you'll find one 'suitable.'

If anyone remembers, I was rudely removed from my guild because I did not log on a couple days in a row. A couple weeks later the guild asked me back. I, of course, thanked them for the very brief time but decided I'd be better off unguilded.

Then, as I was enjoying a wonderful break from the slavery that is Christmas, I turned on EQ2 and was asked to help a player. Being the wonderful person that I am ;P I stopped to help. A few Spanish friends needed another person so they could create a guild. They didn't want an 'uber' 5 million member guild; they simply wanted a means of constant and easy communication. Seeing the goodness there, I helped. I then spent a hefty amount of time explaining what I knew of guilds and guild levels etc.

(Seeing as how my boring story is dragging..) I'm proud to say, I've been asked to remain with them for as long as I like. They are the friendliest happiest players I've come across in a long time. And they very often break their own conversations in Spanish into English to get me involved. Great bunch of people, they are. I'm honoured to be a part of Devocion celta .

The point of my boring story (which I was all bouncy telling) is that 'suitable' guilds are few and far between. Continue being kind to your neighbor and always help out when you can. Those 'suitable' guilds are out there, and many would love to have you as a member. Just be patient and friendly.
