ok, i'm a now 18 predator, and the poisons sold from low end merchants are gray to me and too low to use, but the ones sold by actual npc alchemists are too high for my skill. Where do I find decent merchant sold poison, or am I stuck making my own?

If your posion skill is 100 which I think it is, there is a merchant in the house just pass the bridge on the way to South Qeynos in Qeynos Harbor that sells skill 100 posions. I just found him last night but my posion skill is 67. Oh,,, I restarted Axelia again. :P

Check your skills. If you have 100+ use the 100. If not use the 50. Gray 50 is better than nothing.
I wasn't able to find any level poisons between levels 50 and 100 at all when my swashbuckler was in the teens and after several forums searches it seemed as though other people are having the same problem. I stuck with the level 50's until I got to 20 and could use the 100's. There is a merchant on the docks in TS that sells the 100's and I think the alchemy store in Qeynos sells them too.
As an added bonus, you can have 4 poisons going at once. I keep 4 up at all times. I do seem to see a whole lot more proc'ing than when I was only using 1. Just activate them 1 at a time.

I didnt realize you could use 4 at one time. Thanks, that should be a big help going forward.
You can actualy use as many as you want, as long as they are in different classes.
Appear to be a waste of Poison. I took my Alchemist/Rouge out with 9 active poisons. Only the most rececnt one actualy proced and it proced at the normal rate.

I tried it last night with 5 poisons, and it didnt seem to make any difference. Maybe I was missing something.
The merchant in the NQ broker house also sells 100 skill poisons.
I wouldn't get too bent over the con on poisons. The 100 skill poison is blue to me and says I am "overqualified" for it with skill 101. 2 points lower and it would be "cannot use". How can I be overqualified for something I am only just able to use at all?

As of the recent big patch:
Poisons have been changed from single dose lower price, to multi (possibly unlimited) dose higher price.
*edit: found the post I read on poison. This should answer the other questions in this post. Most of the info should still be correct.*
