Greetings,

I am presently at level 17 (craftswoman) with the intent to go carpenter at 20. So far my primary item that I make/sell is maple strong boxes. At 17, however, they are only about 3% exp each and they are difficult to get the components (I have to get with my outfitter and scholar contacts). Of course they sell like hot cakes.

In the carpentry arena, there really isn't any item (to my knowledge) that I can make a lot of at this level and get decent exp to get me to 20. I can make food, but I have no provisioner skill (other than gathering 105) and when I tried to make a level 17 recipie, I couldn't even get it off of bland (not to mention the fact that the 2nd level provis buffs are bugged at the moment).

I made quills/paper for a long time, but they are also very easy at this stage. Any ideas on something I can make until level 20 that is sellable and not tremendously difficult to get the components?

Create at least one of everything you can that gives exp to pristine. You may want to grind up that provisioning just for the exp.

Once you have at least 1 of everything made.. Just keep cranking out boxes, quills, and paper. All three of those will sell well and net you decent exp.

Every class hits that limit fairly fast. You can get much of your level of off discoveries but in the end, your going to have to grind on a few items. Preferably those that sell. :)

Make the apprentice III scrolls and sell them. Lots of people don't do tradeskills so they'll never make them

Also making the subcombines for the maple strong boxes are a great way to level.

Smithing side:

Iron Clusters & Eolith Temper = iron studs, iron sheets (no need for pristine)
eolith tempers = iron clusters, water, and a candle (again no need for pristine)

Woodworking side:

Severed Maple = Maple board and then planed maple board (pristine a must)
Stroma Resin = tuber strands, water, and a candle.

Small Spoiler:

You can buy the Level 10 book from the scholar society for the eolith temper and stroma resin. You can also purchase the Level 10 armor crafting book for the Iron Studs. Just get a buddy to do it for you. He/she must belong to one of those societies.

Make 40 tempers, 40 resins, 20 Iron Studs, 20 Iron Sheets, 40 maple boards, 20 planed maple boards. Then make as many Maple stong boxes as you can carry. Then Viola - a level!!!!

P.S. Just don't do this on the Nekotolus Server. That's mine!
