Metoric Hoop question :: Free Realms

I am trying to do this Meteoric Hoop quest and have to kill Cavemaw Tunnelers to get a rock hammer. I have kill so many of these guys that I have put a dent in their population for generations to come. Anyone know how long till this stupid hammer drops?

Quest is definatly broken or not finished. I have spent literally hours killing the cavemaws but they never gave me what I needed, I finally just gave up. =/

I believe when I did this quest most of it was random drops from mobs. I think I had to clear the tunnels almost twice before I found mine. I was first on my server to find this item, so I had no help as to how many exactly. I believe if you had to kill a certain number it would list it so my best guess from when I did it is that its a random drop. I only wish I found it sooner.
