Servers Down againFollow

Up for a day, and then down again.........

someone told me that they were supposed to go down today or tomorrow for the patch as the weekend thing was only on the test server. See my post "No Dings???"

From reading the official forums, this is scheduled downtime, will be up 5am PST and they supposedly won't be coming down at 7am PST today. And here I chose sleep over EQ2 last night, sigh.

The test server thing sounds plausable. My char info on official site has not been updated at all on my latest ding, kills, guild status etc since the servers came back up. Hope they come up soon tho - need to take advantage of bonus xp while it lasts.
Now i just need to come up with a reason why i cant physically be at work today...

Had sorta the same thing happen to me. Try clicking somewhere in the world and then moving about. I think it has something to do with a bit getting stuck telling the game you are holding down the shift key. I sent a bug report, maybe that is why they are down again.

Its been happening to a ton of people, so I doubt if it is something like that, but I will give it a try and see what happens.

There was an ingame msg: all US: english servers will go down for maintence and that will take about 2 hours. So I dont think anything is wrong.

I dont want to sound negative but's its been 3 hours already and my wife starting to panick as i'm now looking at ebay for some bargains :)This down time could cost me money ahhh such is life

3 hours? Im on everfrost and it went down about 2 hours and 10 min ago. I dont know about the other servers tho. I just hope they get it done soon I wanna play ^.^

Ummmmm folks...they do maintenance almost EVERY morning. You know that. Paranoia anyone?

Normally though it goes at 10am EST, so to see it at 7am EST was odd.

However,

If you are gonna whine everytime there is downtime go play HL2 or Doom 3 or something that only requires your very own PC. That way you don't clutter up the board with whining complaints about a company who is constantly trying to make this game better.

I will always say, you people are obviously not in IT and don't understand how much work goes into the amount of servers they have to run this wonderful game. Shut up and go play some single player games. I am so sick of the whining...

My thoughts exactly, Im guessing they are referring to the various levels in which you gain an extra "perk" in such you got extra stats, extra attacks vs undead or gnolls/orcs, resistances, racial bonus etc. They have been broken as some people get some, some get none, and some get them all. *shrug* I'd just like to repick my options.
