Dual Weild???Follow

What Class/Level combination allows for dual weilding? With all the DW weapons...I would think it should be a lot easier.

NM, I found out all I have to do is drag and drop the second weapon into place....no skill or combat art associated, appearently

All scouts dual wield. But u must have two "dual wield" style weapons to do it. If you have one "one hand" style, or whatever it's called - can't equip another.

Dual wielding is good - usually gets higher damage - but sometimes u wanna use a shield - for the defense - u don't die so fast. Experiment - there are some decent shield quests - don't blow em off. At times, esp if u solo, u will want to use a shield and one weapon instead of dual wielding. In groups u usually dual wield.

I agree that a shield may be needed but so far as long as I get the jump on the mob, I survive. However, it is still early on in the game so I think I may get a shield anyway. What sword is better fast low damage or slow high damage?

delay tends to even out dps a little but, personaly i would go with what ever does more damage i have 2 sabres that are like 1.4 delay and 14-35 damage i wouldnt take somthing with like 5 less damage just because its go ta 1.1 delay .. especialy if your rogue or assassin its all about the dps baby =p

Just my 2 copper on the subject, however as a scout I have never seen the advantage of a 1 hander + shield, even when soloing. Your AC isn't high enough to justify sacrificing kill speed. Scouts rely on killing your opponent quickly, and duelwielding helps us do that. More hits, more ability's, more HO's, and more poison procs (for those who use poison).

I have never seen the use for a sheild with my Scout (and he's no longer a scout), and those that do, I don't believe are getting the most out of theirs.
