just wondering been playing a couple weeks and haven't seen any npc's selling them.

Ok, to save you from the flamings from hell let me clear up something, i am assuming that you already know of the maps that are listed off of the player bar (lists everything from inventory, options, community, maps, knowledge book, etc)or with the "m" key which auto brings up the map. With that in mind, no, I am not aware of maps that are sold. but the in game map is pretty good in open areas, as you walk through the zones, the fog will discipate as you walk through the area. However you cannot edit the map like you did in EQ1.

yes,hit the website.. as of this moment I don't know if anyone has found in-game maps of areas such as the peat bog or the down below...etc..etc...

spend 25 bucks on the EQ2 book from Prima.
very little of it is no longer accurate moving from beta. Probably one of the better books Prima ever made.
Spell lists are in it, race and classes are explained, most recipes are in up to 20.
The biggest help is the maps with the NPC's marked on them.
has all zones up to and including Thundering Steppes and Nektulos Forest, and the city suburbs.
alternatively print out the color maps folks have posted on line, but none I've seen come anywhere near the Prima maps with detail.
I was worried the book would be a bust to be honest.

I just think they should be punished for all their past lameness and please, don't buy their book. I'm being evil of course, and I don't mean to disrespect anyone who has bought it. I just want Prima to suffer for the money they have stolen from me in the past. They *hurt*.

The Gry maps are pretty good. If they are what I'm thinking you can type in your loc and get a dot. If you have two puters that is just awesome.
