I've got a couple of lines, but that's it so far. Feel free to jump in, let's see what we can create.


The Saga of EQII

The launch had gone so smoothly,
the Devs were in awe;
then Murphy came to town,
and he laid down the Law.

The team had vowed "No sleeping
until the crash is gone".
The Bawls and Jolt flowed freely,
and so they staggered on.

(Yes, I know sleeping and freely don't rhyme)

Nope, not a Bard in game or out.

Just a few days before christmas and all through the land
the people complained till the poor guy was canned.

He cried out in disgust as he walked out the door
"Was not my fault it was the commadore 64!"

All thru the night and into the day
The people cried out, "We just want to play!"
We updated this and we ranted on that
But we all miss our friends lists, our guilds and our chat!
When the dust had settled and the smog had cleared
After too much smoke and way too much beer
The servers are up! they are back on line!
They came back up it was just a matter of time!
They came with the ranting and people who *****.
They came after every SOE customer got pissed.
They came without bomb threats and cancelled subscriptions
They came and we wern't even in game to petition
They came after we posted all night and got bored
Then we thought of something we never thought of before
Perhaps evercrack is about a little bit moore.

The whining continued throughout the night,
There beloved brawlers and assassins urged for a fight
The SOE team worked argorous but nothing seemed to satisfy...
Many people quit, unwilling to comply
