*I read a post the somebody deleted a rare item...ugh..so just to help out people i compiled a list of all the rares from Tier 1 to Tier 3 rares
Tier 1:
Copper
Bronze
Lapis Lazuli
Alder
Yarrow
Low quality pelts (anything that doesnt says sullied)
Tier 2:
Silver
Coral
Blackened Iron
Bone Wood
Sissal
Medium quality pelts (refer to tier 1 pelts)
Tier 3:
Palladium
Steel
Jasper
Fir
Dandelion Fiber

I believe all sullied pelts are tier 1. those without sullied on the front are tier 2 and 3.

Nope done a ton of harvesting quality changes with the tiers ie.(low,average,med,etc.) sullied pelts are the common ones found haven't found an unsullied yet except from a kill.
The list is pretty close. The teir 2 rare pelt is average quality. Sullied pelts are always common, those that don't say sullied are always rare.

there is a harvesting guide here, and it has rares in bold type. it's listed by tier and zone, and includes tiers 1 through 5, and lists the actual names of confirmed nodes and possible harvests from them.
possible rare root for 4 is listed as "oak roots?"
no rares listed there for tier 5 yet.
