I hope people will post stuff on here about any changes that they notice, as someone on Mistmoore, I haven't been able to get in yet and am curious on what is different, if anything.

My characters lost exp through Sunday night at 11pm. They dinged 19 at that time and were level 20 as of Wed at 1pm. I had not played them since Wed and was not on during the patch or whatever happened.

Now, my characters are back to 11% into 18 (Which would be about Sunday around noon, 6 days ago) and have lost their subclasses and items and cash incurred since Sunday.

For those believing that the rollback stopped at 7am on Wednesday...not for all of us.

I lost EVERYTHING through 11pm Sunday at the bare minimum...not to mention my subclass and all other quests completed from Sunday to Wednesday.

Big **** up indeed

From the EQ2 Sony Update

Guk, Najena, Blackburrow, Everfrost, and Oggok are currently online and available for play. We will continue to bring game worlds up as we are able to do so. Please monitor this thread for the latest updates.

We are working with a hardware vendor to address some remaining issues with the following servers, which will be experiencing additional downtime: Befallen, Permafrost, Crushbone, Runnyeye, Mistmoore, Oasis, Innothule, Steamfont, Faydark, and Innovation.

We will continue to work around the clock until all worlds are online. Thank you for being patient while we get the servers up and running!

Wouldn't you know I'm on Befallen? LOL

Ok, now I'm getting worried. Can anyone else who is on please post how far they were rolled back.

They will be compensating us for lost play time. Look around in this thread, there's a link to the official posting on the eq2 boards.

The list of servers I posted earlier that are having hardware issues....aren't those the oldest servers (if I can use the term oldest on a game less that 2 months post release)?

I know Befallen, the one I'm on, is one of the original group at launch, not sure about the others.

And, now it's a HARDWARE issue? OK, who spilled the coffee in the servers while trying to stay awake and fix the fubar from yesterday? LOL

aye i even commented on it as well SOE admitting a ***** up = PRICELESS they will be refunding time but just went over the 24hour mark of being down now and they finally say its a hardware problem on their end and they are working with a vendor that scares me. To quote fred sanford "ITS the BIG ONE Elizabeth " SOE admits error and gives out info

i like eq2 but i honestly think they were trying to see how fvcked up they could make it and still get people to pay for it

So here's my completely unscientific estimate of how far the rollback goes. I had a newbie (lvl 5) on Isle of Qeynos on Thursday morning. By Thursday evening, she was a level 11 sorceror. At the moment, (server she is on is still down) she is a level 5 on Qeynos Isle again . . .

Sigh. Well at least 5-11 are easy levels.

Highkeep isn't even listed in either up or down servers and doesn't appear in SOE's list of 'We're working on these servers' list. It's like a bad episode of The Twilight Zone...the server that never was....ahhhhhhhhhhh!!

Hello everyone, this is my very first time posting here: I am a bit concerned over reading about SOE in talks with a hardware vendor. From what i know there arent too many reasons that would require new hareware.

I talked to a very tech savy nerd friend of mine, (mircosoft engineer) he suggested several possiblities. One that concerned me was that the servers have been hacked and a virus added that corrupted everything.

Is this possible.

In all honesty people, this is not that bad. I work for a extremely large company, and when their servers go down, all hell breaks loose. You think this is bad, imaging a multi million dollar project hanging in the balance!!! And the server outages in the companies I work for are alot more frequest than this game. I'd say at least once a week there is some major outage, where the whole network is effected. And the game has more users than we do on our network!! Seriously, this is minor, and will pass in due time. As far as I am concerned they are doing a good job, even with updates. Being a first line tech, you cannot always provide all the details, because you don't know them till its fixed. Its kinda like a puzzle where you don't have a picture to go by, and you don't know what it is going to be until it is almost done. Anyways... hopes that gives some people hope, and puts things into perspective for others :-)

Level 16 Druid (Level 1 due to server roleback)
Level 10 Palidin (Level 0, waiting to be created due to server roleback)

Uh, had a real mess when I logged off the other night, was trying to help a friend on a very complicated takedown which was way over our head, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, we took it down, and I had a debt of 131% when I logged. Now explain to me again what is so bad about this. :)
