Such thing as a good video card for under $100?Follow
Sorry if someone else said this, as I dont have enough time at the second to read all the posts in this thread, but I suggest spending as much as you can on the card. The better it is, the longer it will last you. You may have to buy 3 $100 cards in the next two yearst to keep playing current games, whereas 1 $220 card could last you two or three years, or a bit more.
I'm currently stuck using 512 ram and an ATI Radeon 9000 64mb...
While it's not the greatest, the game does run on extreme performance decently. If I play for more than a couple hours, I have to reboot. Lag isn't bad enough to make me up and quit but does get bad in heavy traffic zones. I almost never lag in Commonlands.
I'll hopefully be updating my ram first this christmas and depending on the outcome, I may update to a better card.

I am running at geforce 6800gto, any idea how this compares with the 800xt or the new 850xt?
