How do i find things and locationsFollow

several things:

first, in game mapping. press "m". ingame maps arent available for the newbie zones, but are for the city zones and the higher level zones.

second, outofgame mapping. go to one of the sites that has these available, like this one. you can keep it up in another window and flip back and forth, or print it out.

third, if you need to find an npc (nonplayer character), in one of the cities... you can find a guard, rightclick on him/her, choose "find npc" and type in the name of the npc you are looking for. doesnt always have to be the complete name either :). like "tibby" will find tibby whosis in south qeynos. this only works if the npc you are looking for is in the area that the guard you are talking to is familiar with. if it doesnt work, try a guard in a different area, and make sure you are in the right district for the npc you are looking for.

last, if you are having trouble locating an npc for a quest, check your quest journal to make sure you are in the correct district for that particular npc.
