Ok have a few questions to ask actually. One. At what level can i scribe adept spells. im a 15 cleric and looted a adept 1 arch healing, but cant scribe it yet. after that what level can i start to scribe master spells. if i were to get lucky enough and find one. next question has to do with crafting. are all recipes past 9 droped, or is there some place that i can buy them. does using a axe/pick/etc help. and does anyone happen to know a website that has an easy way to increase your skill for least amount of time/cost with biggest reward from it. messed up and spent about 20 silver increasing from 6-8 making throwing axes that only sold for 1cp each. spent 20 silver ended up making only 70cp. seems i got a bit screwed on that one :)

You can scribe adept/masters as soon as you have the spell to increase.

You can buy the basic tradeskill books as you level, but the advanced ones are dropped.

So far I have heard there is no advantage to purchasing axe/pick ect.

http://www.eq2-artisan.com/harvest1.php is a usefull tradeskill site.

Q: Ok have a few questions to ask actually. One. At what level can i scribe adept spells. im a 15 cleric and looted a adept 1 arch healing, but cant scribe it yet.

A: Check your skill level in the area of the scrolls skill, if it is say Brawling and has a min of 105 then your Brawling has to be above that. At 15 you should be very close if you can't already use it.

Q: after that what level can i start to scribe master spells. if i were to get lucky enough and find one.

A: I wouldn't worry about it just yet, you prolly need to be around 25-30 to scribe even the low lvl masters. By that I mean, Kick was one of my early Fighter Skills, if it has a Master I would be more likely to be able to scribe it way before I would be able to scribe say Mend which is a lvl 20 Monk skill.

Q: next question has to do with crafting. are all recipes past 9 droped, or is there some place that i can buy them.

A: Certain recipes scrolls are dropped. Such as Scholar Refining 12 or the Advanced Scholar scrolls 12, 14, 16, 18, 19. There isn't one for every lvl that I've seen. Your Essentials can be bought at your next lvl society. The one you get after you choose Scholar, Outfitter or Provider?.

Q: does using a axe/pick/etc help.

A: I bought all of them and used them for a while. I have no clue wether or not they helped.

Q: and does anyone happen to know a website that has an easy way to increase your skill for least amount of time/cost with biggest reward from it.

A: Nope sorry don't know of one. If you're smart enough to figure it out though let me know. :-)

I goto Here for Artisan Info though. They have a recipe book list that will tell you how to obtain all the different books, whether it be dropped or bought.

other links for artisan info:

eqtraders, which has good guides, and a nifty forum community... they're catching up on recipes...

and

eq2craft
which has tons of recipes already :), but not much as far as guides.

Currently (12/16/04) they do not help at all. This may change someday, but for now do not bother.
