one MB ram shortFollow
Did the system scan and it says I have 511 MB of ram and the minimum is 512. Problem? Will it not allow me to play if I don't reach the minimum even if it is only 1 mb short? I can't imagine that mattering since i have a 128 mb video card, which is higher than there recommended. So how big a problem is 1 MB?
You can play. I had this problem before I upgraded my spouse's computer. He was only running 503 mb and it said he couldn't run EQ2, and I was like "BS"...and of course it ran. Didn't run as good as it does now, with 1gig MB, but it still ran and he could play.

i played with 256 MB for a day while i was waiting for fed ex to bring me my upgrade. i didnt leave the island, but it was a real slide show.
on a related note:
ordered my 512 stick today so next week ill be running 1 gig right before i get eq2 ^_^

How much should 512mb run you ($$$) nowadays?
would 66mb video card make gameplay worse? or would it not be that much of a difference...

Ya know... I went and upgraded my 3.06Ghz machine from 512mb to 2G and added an Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT just to play EQ2 easily, and I don't even like the game.
But what the hell, everything else runs slick as a greased pig on it now.
