I searched the forum 6 pages in. I searched the quest dbase. I even tried holding a seance at the local cemetary, but all THEY wanted to talk about was eating brains....

so I've killed 25 gnolls.

I've made it to the prisoners in the secluded valley (at Level 19) and with a bunch of yellow, orange and red hotshots on me I tried talking to the prisoners, but... I'm persona non grata there... do I have to slaughter just the prison gnoll puppies? Or do I have to try to lay waste to the whole valley?

I ask this because I willfully admit that I am below your gaming greatness, and I beeeeg thee for thy wisdo-

ooo, cheese!

When i did it I just killed the two where you zoned in at then the two at the end of the path then i waited till the roving patrol past I had to back up down the path a little till they wonder out. Then i went right killed the two guards where the prisoners where. Then i clicked on the gate and tore it down. The people fled i ran back to where i zoned in at and some guy was waiting there and zoned me into antonica.

Don't lay waste to the whole valley. here is what I did. I dont know if it's right but it worked.

Take out the first to pairs of gnolls along the ravine that you start in. There are three wandering groups of gnolls and two static groups. Ignore the static groups and pipck off the wandering groups one by one. Then you are free to wander over to the guard gnolls and kill them without interruption. That's where the killing ends. Click on the middle of the barricade holding the prisoners in and choose to dismantle. I didnt smash it in case it got the attention of the static groups who conned red to me. After many attempts, the barricade came down and the prisoners could make a run for it. Follow them to the ravine and someone will be waiting for you to bring you back into Antonica (the far east side). That's it.

it took me about 20 minutes including downtime and investigating the lay of the land. The only real challenge was a yellow wandering group who almost had me.

Hope that helps,
Minky
