performance questionsFollow

Hello all,

Got a few questions.

1. I am currently running a 1.8g p4,80g HD,512 ram,and a bfg geforce 6800 gt 256 mb OC.I notice moderate lag in citys but not to the extreme of bogging down to nothing.In antonica and thundering steppes Pretty much lag free except for when i go near other players.How much of a difference do you think upgrading to 1g ram will make?

2.I have my current settings set custom.Just around high performance with a few tweaks for better quality.Just was wondering if anyone had a few tips on settings that may help my performance without seriously hurting the quality end of the game.

Ive found that it doesnt seem to matter what settings i have it on eventually after about 3-4 hrs straight gameplay it lags real bad and load times increase considerably.Im sure 512 ram is playing a huge role on this.Thanks in advance

yea im thinking about getting this game and im running:

a 2.6ghz p4, 512 ram, 120 gig HDD with a nivida fx5200 and im hoping i dont need to mod my comp for this game...
i bought the video card when i got ffxi last january and im hoping this year i dont have to dig deeper in my pocket to enjoy another MMORPG....anyone with some more knowlage then me on the hardware please help me out!
