I am curious as to what the distribution is.

My main is a Jeweler of course, following my EQ1 character. :)

But I also have a 19 Craftman and 18 Outfitter, and Alchy.

The Alchy was an required alt for me as I can never get the componets I want for a decent price.. 1.2 silver for a t2 oil is fine but not 6 silver! ;)

I have a 20 Sage, 16 Craftsman (will be a woodworker) and a 16 Scholar (will be an alchemist). Do you see a pattern here? : )

After a few days of reading craft-related posts, my Main is an outfitter and I am fast levelling a Jeweller. AND convinced a friend to be an Alchemist <wink>.

I currently have a level 18 outfitter going to armorer, a level 10 crafter going to be carpenter, and got my hubby working on scholar route (got REALLY tired of paying 17s for 1 eolith temper).
Enjoying crafting very much!

Fast working my way towards alchemist with my main (be nice if I knew the effects of the potions Ill be making :P ). Haven’t started any alts yet but will probably pursue a woodworking skill when I do.

I have a toon I worked to 9 Artisan on IOR, and since then shes become a 14 Brawler. I gather resources to raise skills whenever I can, but I'm lost as to which trade I'm going into.

When we were in E1, cooking and brewing and some other skills were fun, but worthless so I'm afraid to even go there. And Jewelcraft and Smithing were so expensive that to a soloist it was also pointless.

I mean, on IOR it was "WTB xyz book volume x" until they stopped it. And all the other factors....it's really confusing.

Once you pick are you locked into that trade, or can you switch

Once you make the choice, and advance to that name you are locked into that possition.

There is a rumor that if you make the choice, you can still change it until it takes effect. For example if you do it at level 8 you can still change it until you actualy ding to 10. This is just a rumor and may very well have been fixed/changed.

However once you ding to 10 (or 20) You are locked into your choice and it can not be changed.
