I have just begun a new toon who will be a full time crafter, though I am not sure yet what profession.

I am still on the Isle of Refuge trying to max out all my crafting and harvesting skills.

I am seriously frustrated with my limited space to store all my goodies until I can craft them into something salable or useable.

I know that I can make bags as an outfitter, but can someone please tell me the best and easiest way, short of spending tons of gold, to increase my inventory/bank space once I get to Qeynos?

Thanks!

Elm boxes give u up to 8 slots, bank only (they are very heavy). I think u can make em on IoR. I think their actual name is "elm strongbox". You get them buy artisan lvl 6, I'm pretty sure. But don't fool w/ making them on IoR - just come to Q or FP.

Maple boxes have as many as 12 slots. I think they are made at lvl 15, but u must be a craftsman to make em.

The rawhide backpack can go up to 6 slots. Makeable at lvl 6 or so. Tanned packs, makeable at lvl 15 or so, go up to 8. Boiled leather to 10.

These are all pretty expensive. Six-slotters are around 6s (because you can buy one from a merch for 6s) - but the boxes - wow - people want crazy money for em. GL

First of all, thank you!

I do have the recipe for the boxes but it requires "planed elm" boards or planks, and I do not yet have that recipe. Is it in Artisan 7 book or higher?

A couple of follow up questions, though:

1) Why not bother making them on Isle? Is it easier to gather resources in Qey/FP?
2) What Artisan level can I get to on Isle?
3) Do you not think it worthwhile to stay to max out all available harvesting skills?

Thank you!

Planed Elm, is just the basic lumber. You can make them at level 2 I belive.

You will have to get used to the naming system for now. It is very hit and miss. Sometimes the item name is correct, sometimes only part of the name is needed.

1) Most of the stuff on LOR is garbage especialy now that the books no longer drop. Use it to get some expereine, finish up some quests then move on. Its much easer to craft in the cities, especialy were you can buy most of the componets for a few copper.

2) You can get up to level 9 Artisan with 220% exp.

3) No, you can harvest T2 with 20 skill now. So once you hit 20ish skill you minds well move on to something more profitable.
