Is there any real difference between the two? They're the exact same game right? One just has less discs?

Yes, it is the same game. The DVD version has 2 discs the CD version has 9 so it is a big deal for those who like things simple.

Yea I had to get the DVD version. I hate having to switch discs every 2 seconds to install a damn game. DVD alot easier and less discs to keep track of.

My hubby and I got one of each; he had the DVD collecters edition, and I got the CD. It was a good thig we each play though, because his DVDs were scratched and wouldnt load. Mine were fine though.

Im sure it was a glitch but it would have been very sad if only one of us had the game and it was scratched

Did he not return them for a replacement? I cetainly would have and any reputable business should have replaced them as you are not asking for a refund, just a replacement with a working copy.

Also, I heard that the price differed between the DVD version and the CD version. Has anyone run across this? I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and both versions cost the same here. Feedback?

Both cost the same (59.99) here in Toronto, Zoo.

My silly hubby bought the DVD version, not realizing there is a CD version and he doesn't have a DVD Rom in his PC. Fortunately, I do have a DVD in mine, so I kept his copy and we went and bought him the CD version. Pretty funny. I'm bummed though cause I can't play on my pc til I upgrade my Vid card so I'll have to sneak some tiime on his pc until January.

Oh well (sigh) and yes, in So. California, both regular editions on CD and DVD cost $49.99.

Ooooh, pricey in Toronto. The cost out here in Saskatchewan is only $44.99 at Electronic Boutique. Even cheaper than Mistress Dravenhawke paid in California. That's Canadian dollars folks Smiley: smile.

I didn't even know there was a CD version. I bought the game and luckily have DVD drive. Not so for my brother and his friend who actually drove an hour to my house with their PC's in the back of the car (each on separate occasions) to network up with my laptop and share the DVD drive. lol

Also, you guys have got it cheap! I got mine in the UK for 10GBP cheaper than the list price and it still cost 25GBP (Thats 48USD, 60CAD) Ooof!!! Glad I didnt pay full price

Does that include VAT? The price I quoted was sans tax. Add on 7% GST (Goods and Services Tax) and 7% PST (Provincial Sales Tax) and the final price was $51.29 Cdn.

If your price was sans VAT, then I offer you my sympathies. Hope you enjoy the game. Smiley: smile
