Missing spirit shardFollow

Ok as the subject says I have a missing spirit shard which is near impossible to get since it is in a high level, high aggro area so I have chosen to leave it for now. Now my stats are lower since I haven't got my shard back yet, my question is how long will it be until my stats return to normal? So far I have been this way for 2 levels now.
