My 1st platinum piece!!!Follow

I thought I was going to have to come in here and tell you how much I hate/envy you. =P

I generally have a little over 1 gold. I feel pretty comfortable with that, but I know as I get higher in levels that won't really amount to very much.

I have 8 (at most 9) gold pieces. I am VERY cheap and I don't wait for days to sell my loot. I find it faster if I just sell to the nice vendors (shout out to my buddy Scribe in Elddar!) for 13s or what not instead of sitting for 3 weeks on something that sells for 50s. I try to empty out my bank every Friday.

I have all of my Adept I spells and most of my gear is Orange with the minimum Blue. And I still have 8g in the bank. I'm currently level 23.

Just kill them Green double echron mobs and sell their drops right away. Easy fast money with a little bit of xp.

The only thing I have that I just didn't sell (for 1 gold and change) is my Master I spell. Its for Necro's though and I am in Qeynos. I'm hoping to trade it for a Master scroll that I can use rather than sell it. I so hate sitting in my apartment or leaving the game running while I sleep/work.

Friend of mine has about 6-7 gold on him at the time. He is a sage and spells are selling pretty good for him. Also, the Tier II (or Tier III) collection quests net 48 silver per run and if you have a good supply of harvest materials you can load up quick!

My friend also plays close to 6 hours a day. I play maybe 1-2 hours at best every other day.

Put it this way.

1,000,000 copper pieces equal 1 platinum piece.

Take the EQ1 exchange rate and multiply it by a factor of 10.

1 plat = 100 gold = 10000 silver = 1,000,000 copper.

Yeah, it really isn't that hard...although I've made most of my profits from crafting and selling excess harvested items that I don't use. I'm almost up to 1pp right now, closing in fast.

Harvesting is a really viable source of income right now, since so many ppl are leveling their crafting. I can sell Tier I harvested items consistantly at about 20cp each (I'm usually the lowest price and sell out fast). My crafted items range from 2-12sp and sell very fast also, and I'm only at level 14 Outfitter. Tier II harvested items can go for 1sp each if you push it, but I generally price them between 40-60cp to keep product moving quickly. I average about 1-2 Rare Harvests per 100 so I can make quick cash with those too (sold a Lapis and Bronze the other day for 60sp each!).

It's all in how you maintain your flow of income and expediture. If you keep your items there on the market for all ppl to see, you'll sell more. It's easy to mold a new economy and keep yourself on top if you just watch what your doing ^^

Currently I have about 8 gold, but I've brought in over 25g from just bazaaring. I have an Adept 3 spell and a pretty descent set of armor (all of it is orange / yellow, with some white thrown in and two peices of below white.) I've also lent out a gold to a needy guild member who's kids had sold all of his stuff.

Well I see that the 15 gold pieces I have in my pocket makes me pretty darn rich ;-0

you know what i think, that pp are very fictional in this game just like unicorns in this game having the life span of leapping lizzy (sorry for the ffxi referance but its true) I saw one the second day playing and haven't seen one since. And I thought we were in the good city?

10kk PP in the old eq is nothing like it is the new eq though. To have 1 PP in EQ 2 would be the equivallant of 1000 of the old EQ

EX
EQ1, 1000 CP = 1 PP
EQ 2 1,000,000 CP = 1 PP

Therefore for someone to earn 10K PP of EQ2 money would be equal to 10,000,000 PP of EQ1 Money.

BTW, I only have 5 Copper currently, hehe, the most I have ever had was 30 Silver. This 5 Silver a month rent is killing me :-O

I have 15 gold saved so far but my girl friend has made almost 3 plat. She is very good at her craft. At any rate there are people way higher than all of us I am sure. The highest level on our server now is 43 as opposed to us being level 20's. I am sure if there are power levelers like that there all also probably power crafters and sellers who have plenty of plat by now.

where did you get 4 or 5 10-slot bags?? I don't even have one! lol
