He's in Qeynos Harbor. If you go to the other broker, then jump in the water and swim around in the underwater tunnel a bit, you'll find another tunnel which leads to the broker.

Hes on the island in EFP, swim out there and get up on the structure from the north side, there is a fence and some pirates or something.

One thing to check out for, for those having problems with adepts. In my experience adept books tend to drop from certain camps/mobs over and over. And when I was in Freeport I found both backstab, and shadowblade, along with many scout/fighter class adepts. I dont know if this is everyones experience, but I would encourage those who are having problems locating your adeps check blackmarket

That's good advice Talin. Also evil tradeskillers will at times need to buy sub-combined items they can't make from Qeynosians - I've read a lot of people saying that Qeynos is much more populated on most servers (some call it 'the popular city' now). And on most servers Qeynos seems to have a lot more tradeskillers.

My wife and I each have an account, and we have good and evil chars in same server (who can't trade items through shared bank slots - it is not allowed). My good scholar can get a new appr lvl 3 spell to one of her evil chars through the black market (put it up for sale for one copper - but make sure an evil char on other acct is already at the blackmarket broker - and have her *immediately* buy it). The danger is that someone might get lucky and steal it. That hasn't happened yet, but it could. We time it so fast that so far it has worked. And spells are cheap to make, so it wouldn't be that big a deal if one got "stolen".

Watch the 40% hit the blackmarket broker takes.

Oh, if you're thinking "hey I'll just avoid the 40% fee my evil char has to pay by making a good guy mule" - and swap items through the shared bank slots - don't bother. Again, they "pre-nerfed" that one - bank slots are only shared by same-alignment chars.

So far the only other way to avoid the 40% broker fee (besides charging dirt cheap and having a char on second acct immediately buy it) is to have one of your charcters physically run the item to the other side. A low lvl char actually can make the journey - esp a scout w/ pathfinding - and if you die you just die and keep going - fortunately you reappear after death in same zone - and once my little gnome appeared further along!

You need to google "eq2 maps" and study where to go. But it is doable. And hey, again, this is a mule char making hte run - it doesn't matter if he dies a lot. He can make it. You do need a good connection - if yer lagging u won't be able to outrun the occasional mob - and if lagging u sometimes won't see htings and will blunder right into them.

Okay, once you get to the other side....

If you don't have two accounts you need to find a player you trust a LOT to hold the items for u. Your mule hands the items, you log hte mule, and you log in your main to accept the items. Ta-dah. The one thing I haven't tested that could ***** this up would be if evil chars can't trade w/ good ones - but I assume they can. However, if someone knows for a fact that such trades can or can't be done, pls post it here. Thx much.

Note, I'd find out if good and evil chars can trade w/ each other before investing in this. If they can, it just occured to me that a player could make decent money by being a "courier" for people who have good and evil chars on same server. Once you learn how to make the run it isn't that hard. Again, be a scout w/ pathfinding for speed. Not sure if this would be a big business, but if you have a mule doing this run for your chars already... who knows? GL all.
