Tips for keeping track of your recipe booksFollow

Ok, I noticed last night that a lot of people starting out crafting were unsure which recipe books they already scribed. Here are a couple of tips to help you out when you first start crafting.

1) Select recipes under your EQII menu. From here select the edit button at the top where it says unfiltered. If you go down to the bottom you can view what recipe books you have scribed already.

2) When you buy your first few recipe books from the merchant, leave your buy/sell window open. Let's say you buy book 4, but already have scribed book 4, you can sell it back for the same price as long as you haven't closed the buy/sell window. I have tried this and it works. I am not sure if it is a bug in the game or not, but remember it because 1s 20c is a lot of loot for new players!

I hope this helps!Smiley: grin

As far as I know, it is not a bug, it is done intentionally in case you accidentally purchase more than you wanted or something you never even wanted. Kind of like a ... i just bought this... but havent left the store, and now that I think about it I really dont want it... kind of thing. =)

Actually you dont need to take the risk of losing money on buying any book that you already scribe or books that you cannot scribe yet.

check all your receipts, those receipts which is "Even", "challenge" or "hard" are from the highest receipts you just scribed. Mouse over those receipts picture, a box will pop up and tell you the book volume. so you will know the highest book volume you had scribed so far.

Why risk your hardly earned money to a NPC? its so dumb.
