Zarvonn's LegacyFollow

I couldn't find any info about this quest on this site. What does Zarvonn's Legacy do? It is listed under "Access Quests" in the journal, but I am not sure where it grants access to or if you get any armour/money/xp etc...

Anyone know about it? Btw, this is in freeport/common lands.

I excepted this yesterday.

The rat in the Thieves Way, Zatsy, gives you access to the Darkblade Den(?). Following the same logic I'd suppose it gives you access to the Necropolis Castle in Nektulos. Not Sure.

The quest I referred to from Zatsay gave me a very nice club weapon(although I'm a brawler and just couldn't give up the cool look of a bo in combat^^), exp, and some change. Yeah, and the ability to enter the DarkBlade Den... I think. Haven't actually entered it yet.

Once you have the start of the quest you have to fight your way into the tower itself and talk to the NPC in there, after that it's simply follow the quest prompts.

Eventually you get to talk to the mage chick at the top of the tower and she will let you click on a stone up there that will take you to the instanced zone of Zavronns Valley.. or something like that.

We explored this valley about a week ago, it is a quest zone in that you need to clear it of mobs and then kill a named zombie who spawns after all else is dead, the zone then respawns with slightly tougher mobs and you need to kill them all off again.. at this point the AI went bananas on us and we couldnt attack anything, they just all ran off up the cliffs and eventually warped back to us all at once and kill us.

Either bugged or was lag or something but certainly not what is supposed to happen.

Hmm, so all that trouble is just to get into a small zone with a few mobs? I don't get it. Where's the reward?

The reward is that you fight the mobs for xp and loot, then you get to fight a boss mob for more loot, then you get to do it again, for more xp and.... more loot. I thought that was already implied by the other replies.

what level group would you recommend for the valley portion of the quest?
