i want to know how much ram all of you guys have??? and tell me how good or bad your computer runs the game with the ram you have. im not worried about video cards right now, just would like to know abour the ram. im going to have about 750 or so, and after christmas maybe 1500, but i cant afford the 1500 yet, so i have to bear with 750 for now.

I have 512MB as of right now. It lags in Qeynos over time. What I mean by this is, after I've zoned into several areas, the lag gets pretty bad.

Outside of the main city parts it runs fine. Blackburrow is a tad slow though.

I'm not expecting a perfect gaming environment with 512. When I upgrade I hope to see a large improvement.

512 runs it not so good. 768 runs it alright. 1 gig is what you should be aiming for. Anything above that helps too.

768 MB of ram I think on my computer. I need to get DSL first, lol, the game runs crappy on my sweet 56K Modem. I have to play High performance outside of towns, and Extreme performance in towns sometimes to avoid lag.

I will have 2 GB of ram in February when it's my birthday, or maybe Christmas. For Christmas I'm going for an intel Pentium 4 upgrade, from my current intel Celeron.

1 GB of ram is perfect for the game, anymore is just fun to look at for now.

Nay, just a gamer.

Evercrack is the only thing you need to worry about now until they introduce Everquest 3 friend.

*twitches* Gotta have more man, more!

Even 1GB of ram is not sufficient to run EQII with above average settings. I would recommend 2GB.

Honest Opinion.

Old comp stats.

1.8 gigz
512 ram
radeon 9600 128 meg

Game lagged in cities, no lag in commonlands, got so bad in cities that I had maybe 1 fram per second after playing the game for hours.

New comp.. (Just added ram)

1.8gigz
1 gb of ram
radeon 9600 128 meg

Games lags NO MORE! well.. hardly noticeable after playing hours and being in city. that extra 512 made a TREMENDOUS difference.

Awsome .. Im running 512mb now and was planning on upgrading to 1gb. Hope I see the difference as much as yourself. I'm running a :

1.8ghz
512mb Ram
Geforce4 Ti 4600 128mb

I'm actually aming for a new computer upgrade :) Going to get a AMD 64bit 3400 - 2gb Ram - one of the new ATI cards :) Don't know we'll see what my credit is like after christmas.

AMD 64 Processor
1GB Ram
ATi Radeon 9800pro 256

Lag only occurs due to my dodgy telecom company.

cool, so it seems that once i get my ram to 1G or over im good. unfortunately my video card doesnt support the game, so i have to upgrade that first....i wont have enough money to upgrade my ram till after christmas. but i will just play with lag. Hopefully the lag doesnt make it too hard to play. Thanks for the help, you were all awesome.
