It's just a gameFollow

First of all, to those who **** and moan about anything not entirely related to gameplay and customer service related issues(missing corpse, missing loot, etc.), EAT IT.

I don't even play eq2, played eq, swg, etc., and i'm just interested in where eq2 has gone/is going. But gd...ive read some forum topics and the complaints ive seen make me laugh at the complainer.

a) camping: like i said, i dont play eq2 atm so i cant, from experience, say what thats like. But i have seen it in other games and have not had any complaints from the friends that do play eq2. But thats how it goes. if you cant deal with it, or stick it out long enough to get to the camp, *QUIET. as idealistically as it should be in your eyes, it isnt. postin on a forum probably isnt gonna change it.
b) names: omfg....its just a game, so by default, that means the name subject is less than the game. i can, to an extent, understand the restriction on names if they are explicit, but its a marginal sympathy. its a name, dont you have something better to do than **** and moan about something like that. Do you alone represent and retain all worldly knowledge that goes with the realm of whatever game you're playing? some names are lame, but sometimes, the players behind them have skills and they get penalized for your mild discontent.
c) WoW vs. EQ: i have friends that play both and as with most things, im hearing good and bad about both. as posted before, just leave that to another forum, or wait till they start categorizing this forum, as i should have done.
d) Cursing: yeah...i have hard times finding the word filter in the games i play...WTF...if thats the case, go back to the manual and study for tomorrows quiz that ill be givin. and then there's always the simple option of ignoring it. i mean, come on, its just a word...if you're intimidated by a word, its a wonder you're still makin it in this world. then again, you may be playin this to "escape reality". problem is, in some people's escape from reality, cursing is natural.
e) pvp: what use is all the nice gear and leet titles if all you can do is raid and kill mobs. what use is a backstab/harmtouch/critical/etc. if the only thing you can do that to is some lame mob. scared of knowing you're not as good against other people that might own you even if you have the best gear? there's alot to do in eq without pvp, but damn, there's so much more to do if there's pvp. i personally would rather be a pvpin fool with limited gear than a bloobie who thinks they should get respect cuz of the amount of stat heavy, no drop items they have. Pisser:"ive killed so and so mob, so and so mob,..., and so and so mobs." Player:"ive killed you and you and you and your sister and your guildmate and your mamas guildmate and..." Gear isnt the end product in pvp, it helps, but ive killed, and seen others killed, people that thought they were uber cuz of their gear. its a good laugh, you should try it. but from what ive seen, there's no pvp really even being mentioned of being implemented so those who come in here and moan about that, knew what they were gettin when they bought this game so....*silence
honestly, thats all for now. ill have to go look in some old forums to weed out some more complaints i might want to comment on. this being eq, i may just level and get some gear and pp from trying.
