Sneaking into Castleview HamletFollow

Im trying to sneak into Castleview Hamlet to recover some room items. This is a result of the betrayal quest. To date I have tried via the sewer but the dog sees you, via the docks, and a Guard sees you and via Oakmyst and Guard Sinanyala sees you. All of this was with Invis on.

Anyone know if an illusion will work? I dont yet have one i can use.

Im an enchanter.

Comments?

Comments: You shouldn't have betrayed, yo! That's my 'hood, and we high elves don't play around with intruders!

Actual useful comments: No, I can't think of any way for you to get back there. Perhaps if you had given someone access to your room you could have...but since that's unlikely, you may just have to take a loss on those items. There are only three access points to Castleview, and all have a guard at them.

I've heard that you need to officially cancel the lease on one room to get a room in the new city.

Well if the enchamtment doesn't work...

What you need is the higher intellect only an erudite can provide. Listen closely. Read it slowly. Read it multiple times if need be.

You want to divert the guards attention. This will require a team effort. Do you know anyone who would assist you?? Hmmm? Someone who is willing to make character or has one already that they aren't playing at the moment that could afford to suffer shard loss?

Can you attack the guards? If so, could you group with Qeynosians and have them attack the guard while you jet past? That's a good question.

Now soak that in slowly. I'd hate for that peanut sized glob of grey between your ears to tire itself out. Away with you.

What? Where? And to think I've been spending all this time trying to work the camera view to see up the loincloth/dress of the statue in the Elddar Grove.

I indeed consulted an Erudite scholar on this matter, but alas, like you, his answer wasn't based on any real Knowledge or Facts, just a beat up self opinion.

Went in with another Darkie and he had much delight in watching the guard come for me. Ive tired to cast on guard but I cannot. Ive now tried with two darkies to see if one takes out the guard but this hasnt been succesful yet.

Good news - NO SHARD LOSS

Consult your ball again for me..

Remember there are no stupid questions..just stupid people.

I dont honestly think there is a way. I think you are supposed to gather all your stuff before you do the betrayal quest. Because once you betray there is no going back. I am not 100% sure on this, but I havent yet met someone who has betrayed being able to get back into the city. If you do find a way please post it for others who may be inthe same situation. GL

I'm thinking this is the case, too. If you could get back in your old city, betrayl would be kind of moot, would it not?

Depends on your view point..

If your about to do something your city does not like, you proubably do not want to advertise it. :) Hey look, that person just packed up their appartment, sold everything and is heading out the gate.. I wodner if they are coming back? ;)

On the down side, you can not open a new place to live if you have an old one open. So you need to return to the city and close down shop. Silly but true at the moment.

I can think of a few reasons you may want to be able to get into the old city. Includings quests, and furture pvp options?

Successfully got in today- Had someone talk to the guard which made here shift a little. Then used Smuggle and made it to the Inn.

A big thanks to Veleno

Yes, you paid attention to the hints I gave you via my superior erudian intellect. I didn't think a pea brain like you would have ever figured it out. Bravo. Maybe there is hope for the lesser races after all. Now shove off. Shoooo!!!

Yeah, i suppose it takes a genuis to suggest to have someone distract the guard thats getting me....Fool! Just because I tell you to go to the hospital when your sick doesn't make me clever.

The guard was not distracted, She just moved after a conversation and didn't move straight back. There is no shard loss.
