I'm wondering the same thing and can't seem to find any info on the subject. Just wanted to bump in hopes someone had some answers.

This thread over at the official forums had some pretty good info on the subject. However, after reading it I'm still not quite sure which path my druid will take! Tough call it is.

The thread posted by the previous entry is very good, appreciated it. I am sure now, being more of a defensive soloist and very patient that Warden would be the best bet. Both in defense: DS combined with Regen and Snare, when your getting beat down, snare and get some distance so the regen gets max effect. Unforetunately you cannot take advantage of kiting as you only get a few DOT spells.

I recomend the Fury. I am a level 29 fury on Neriak... And I solo very well actually. I am 29, and can solo up to level 35-36 creatures. I get a couple direct damage, 2/3 dots, debuffs, many regens, good defense and buffs, as well as damage shields.

I have a question as well about the Druid, Fury, and Warden. Which of them has Robes as primary body armor for the best stats? Because I went from level 1-10 last night, and became a Druid, and the reward was not a robe armor, just some lame ugly to look at tunic. Do Warden's and Druids, not wear robes? If so, I'm going to be so disapointed.

OK, just to clarify, Wardens and Furies are types of Druids. (This is for the last post about armor for the 2) Just in case there was any confusion. Second, I am only a level 15 Druid, but armor I have been finding that is the best is the light armor (above very light) which has been leather based. Hope that helps.

Well, as a light armor user (druish people), you're certainly free to wear very light armor (intended for mages) if you choose. You'll probably be better off wearing light armor, though.

I rather have a Warden in my group than a Fury. Furies tend to think they are a dps class =\
