ATTN: New Players read thisFollow

Hey gang, there are a lot of repeat questions already starting to pop up on this forum from new players. On the official site there is a great forum called The Newbie Yard. I know a lot of you don't go there. I have found a post in that site that has a lot of great information for people just starting out.

Check out this thread:

This guy went through a lot of what people should know when starting out. I hope this helps answer some of your questions. Enjoy!Smiley: grin

Also, use the search forums function if you are looking for answers here BEFORE posting. It does get annyoing to see a question asked that has already been discussed in 3 or 4 previous postings.

Yea, you know how I found this thread? When you first start up your game and its checking all the patches, on the right hand side there is a section called "Hot Topics" I think. This section contains threads off the main SOE boards. Any hot thread with great information will make its way onto this section.

Its a great thing to view while your patches are installing.

Actually, for some reason, the links to the official site when patching are unaccesable for me. Wonder if anyone else has the same problem.

I never liked the site of the Station, too slow.

(edited to add: even your link isn't working well, lol, I'm guessing the forums there are just overloaded)
