The right level for the jobFollow

Hey guys. I just hit LVL 18 last night. I am currently a crusader going on Paladin. I was wondering what lvl i am able to complete the Paladin quest. Do i have to wait until 20? or can i do it before. I remember someone in game telling me i could do it at 18 but i have not received a msg.

I just did my Templar quest at 18 and it was easy, so assuming things are 'balanced' you shouldn't have much trouble.

YOu will find the person you are looking for near the top of the steps leading to the Castle in N Qeynos.

He will send you on a gnoll slaying spree. He asks that you kill gnolls that are a challenge. Be aware though that you can get credit for a 'green solo' gnoll, but not for a 'green group' gnoll. This was very frustrating as it really narrows down the number of spots you can get credit.

After that you will speak to him and immedietaly after you finish the conversation will be whisked away to an instantiated quest which you do solo and can be done at level 18 with a little guile.
